Strategy lifecycle

Building, creating, collecting, and closing are separate states and actions.

Before an on-chain position

  1. Build

    Enter assets, bounds, and distribution.

  2. Review

    Inspect composition, ticks, position count, protocol fee, and risks.

  3. Price scenario

    Move the market price through the range and inspect the deterministic outcome.

  4. Save Draft

    Store the editable configuration in this browser without moving funds.

Once live execution is authorized

  1. Create

    Approve required assets and submit the reviewed quote before its deadline.

  2. Open

    The manager records ownership and holds the PositionSet's Uniswap V3 NFTs.

  3. Collect

    The strategy owner can collect realized LP fees; the strategy remains open.

  4. Close

    The strategy owner removes all liquidity, collects remaining assets, burns the positions, and closes the record.

Conversion is not closure.

Price crossing the full range can complete the intended asset conversion, but it does not close the on-chain strategy. The strategy owner must close it to withdraw principal and end the position.
