Indexing and chain authority

The indexer makes history searchable. It does not decide who owns funds or who may act.

Discovery versus authority

Data authority
QuestionPrimary source
Find strategy historyIndexer projection of confirmed events
Who owns a strategy?StrategyManager storage
What funds and positions exist?StrategyManager and NonfungiblePositionManager state
Can this account collect or close?Current chain state and transaction validation

Reorganizations are expected.

The indexer tracks block number, hash, parent hash, transaction hash, and log index. On divergence it rolls back orphaned blocks before applying the canonical branch. Confirmation depth is a deployment parameter.

Reconcile before sensitive actions.

The interface can use indexed data to list strategies, but collect and close preparation must re-read current contract state. An indexer outage can reduce discovery without changing contract custody or ownership.
